Strong Kids Campaign
Our charitable work would not be possible without your generous contributions to the YMCA’s Annual Strong Kids Campaign. The Strong Kids Campaign is the backbone that supports the YMCA’s mission. Thousands of kids, teens and families from our community need financial help so they can take part in programs offered by local YMCAs.

You can contribute right now by simply calling your local YMCA and asking to make a donation to the Strong Kids Campaign.

The money we raise insures that we will never turn anyone away due to inability to pay for YMCA programs or services. Over 20% of our members receive some form of financial assistance.

We sincerely thank all of you who have given to this year’s Campaign. We also thank the volunteers and staff who have worked tirelessly to raise these critical dollars.

Capital Campaign
The YMCA of Greater Omaha continues to reach out in meaningful ways to people in the greater metropolitan area, contributing to the lives of thousands of individuals and families in the region. Through careful stewardship of financial resources, the YMCA has continuously delivered a balanced budget while expanding subsidized programs and fulfilling an increasing number of financial assistance requests.

We provide the places where the options to participate and grow are endless. The YMCA's focus on fostering self-esteem, self-reliance and a commitment to community service has never wavered. We believe those qualities are more important now more than ever.

We are truly blessed to have so many generous supporters including United Way of the Midlands who aid us in providing programs subsidies and scholarships so that everyone can participate, regardless of gender, faith, race, ability, age or income.

Taking care of our community assets requires support from the community. You can help us achieve our goals by making a financial commitment to the YMCA Capital Campaign.

YMCA Heritage Endowment Fund
The Heritage Endowment Fund was established in 1980 and has continued to grow with the generosity of donors. It is entirely separate from the day-to-day YMCA operating funds. Monies in the Fund remain there forever; only the interest is spent each year to support the YMCA's greatest current need or the purposes you designate. When you make a gift to the Fund, you become a member of the YMCA's Heritage Club.

You may choose to designate a gift to the Fund through a will, living trust, life insurance, real estate, stock, and/or a charitable trust.

As we confront the challenges of the future, we know that the generosity of those who assist us will make all the difference in our success. That's why we seek your support. But we also want to make sure that you benefit from making a gift to us. How does this happen? Of course, you have the satisfaction that comes from knowing you've made a difference in the lives of others. But in fact, the best gift plans also improve the donor's financial and tax situation, often right away.
